We provide homebuyer information for those who are interested in becoming a successful homeowner and information about options for those who are striving to become successful homeowners. Our information services are available at no cost to help people become successful homeowners.

There will be two hour long introductory workshops on buying and owning a home held at 6 to 8 PM on March 18, and April 1, 2010. The workshops are free and open to everyone. No pre-registration is required. The introductory workshops will be held at the WSU Visitor Center Conference Room. The address is 225 North Grand Ave. Pullman, WA 99163

First time homebuyer classes will be held at 9 AM to 3:30 PM on March 6, 27, and April 7, 2010. The classes run for about five hours long with breaks taken between sessions. The homebuyers classes will be held at Community Action Center. To get directions to our office please see our contact page.
Agenda
We work one-on-one with people who want to become homeowners including helping:
- Review finances
- Develop a budget to get to homeownership
- Review credit reports and make a plan for improvement
- Review what is involved in being a homeowner including home maintenance, taxes, insurance, and neighbor relations
- Selecting a home
- Applying for financing
We work one-on-one with people who are currently a homeowner to help them keep their home and protect their investment. These services might include:
- What to do when having financial difficulties
- What you need to do when you do get behind on your mortgage
- Developing a homeownership budget
- Completing home maintenance and repairs
