About Us
We are a part of Community Action Center (CAC) which is a private non-profit 501(c)3 organization, primarily funded by state and federal grants and community donations. Since 1988, CAC has been a source of support for low to moderate people each year in Whitman County, Washington.
Our organization offers services from emergency and transitional housing, food supplements and energy assistance to early childhood development, legal referral services and home weatherization and repair to first-time homebuyers information and resources. This website focuses on four of the services offered by CAC: Self-Help Program, Weatherization Program, Home Rehabilitation Program and Homeownership Information. Building stronger communities in Whitman County by providing innovative homeownership opportunities, assisting families to succeed in homeownership, and partnering to improve the quality of life in neighborhoods.
